The Universe


This image was created by picking one of the darkest regions of the sky in which almost nothing could be seen; a patch of black. Using the Hubble space telescope they took multiple exposures over many nights to peer into that one blank spot, just 1/12,700,000th of the observable sky, to see what was there.


And what did they find in that tiny spot of nothing?

Quazars, stars, galaxies- about 10,000 galaxies!!
